Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing civil or rail construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Lead and manage civil construction and rail projects, including planning, delivery and completion.
- Prepare, manage and maintain project budgets, financial and progress reporting.
- Manage progress and scope movements.
- Manage and support on-site teams, activities and subcontractors.
- Manage and maintain strong client relationships.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering,
- Minimum of 5 years prior experience in civil or rail project management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong understanding of safety, quality, and environmental systems & management.
- Strong understanding of Dept. Main Roads Contracts and Specifications.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Registered Practicing Engineer, Queensland or intention to obtain (RPEQ) preferable.
