Responsibilities
We are seeking experienced and reliable Pipe Layers to join our team. These roles are essential to the successful delivery of drainage, sewer, stormwater, and watermain infrastructure on a variety of civil construction projects.
Key Accountabilities:
- Install stormwater, sewer, and water pipes in accordance with project plans and specifications.
- Set grades, levels, and alignments using lasers or survey equipment.
- Assist with trenching, backfilling, and bedding material placement.
- Interpret and work from drawings and site plans.
- Work as part of a collaborative team with operators, labourers and supervisors.
- Follow all WHS requirements and company safety procedures.
- Carry out daily housekeeping and equipment/tool maintenance as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience laying pipes on civil construction projects.
- Construction White Card.
- Understanding of correct pipe installation techniques and standards.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and use levelling equipment.
- Reliable, hard-working and committed to safe work practices.
- Tickets such as Confined Space, Excavator, Skid Steer or Roller highly regarded.
- HR Licence or Truck experience desirable but not essential.
We need experienced pipe layers who can set proper grades and get the job done right the first time.
