JWG replaced aging formation and critical culvert infrastructure at the Rangal level crossing under a tightly constrained program, ensuring resilience and minimal rail service downtime.

Project Scope

• Cut and strip rail and remove old formation
• Excavate unsuitable subgrade and replace with compacted fill
• Install precast RCBCs and headwalls
• Construct stitch pours and rat walls
• Replace formation, ballast, sleepers, and weld new rail
• Certify and hand over track under QR compliance
