Project Overview

Joe Wagner Group was engaged as Principal Contractor to renew 275m of formation and track near Saraji. Works were delivered under intensive time constraints and remote conditions.

Project Scope

• Cut and strip rail, remove sleepers and old formation
• Replace formation and ballast to new specifications
• Lay and align new sleepers and welded track
• Flood with ballast and complete rail stressing
• Certify rail and handover post-shutdown
• Manage remote site logistics including plant, crew, and third-party traffic

Project Outcomes / Highlights

• Works completed on time despite constrained shutdown window
• Zero injuries and no compliance deviations
• Improved reliability for one of Queensland’s key mining lines
• Minimal impact to ongoing mining logistics
